We have started a new effort to map rainfall-induced landslides in the Acquasanta Terme (AP) and the Roccafluvione (AP) municipalities. In three days, through field surveys conducted along major and minor roads, we have mapped more than 500 landslides in an area of less than 100 square kilometres. Our mapping effort will continue in the upcoming weeks.

With a final conference held at the Belgium Royal Museum of Natural Sciences, in Brussels, participated by representatives of national geological surveys in Europe, and a review meeting held at the Research Executive Agency (REA), also in Bruxelles, we closed successfully the EC FP7 project LAMPRE, coordinated by our Institute.

A short paper presenting the story of the FP7 DORIS project coordinated by our group has been published in the Horizon 2020 website, in the Projects Stories section.
